By booking your appointment you are securing a 15 minute slot for your permanent jewelry experience. Each appointment can accommodate one person only. If you are coming with friends please book one appointment per person.

1. What is permanent jewelry?
Permanent jewelry is a chain that we weld together at a link instead of using a traditional clasp.
2. Do you accept walk ins?
We try our best to accommodate walk-ins as much as possible but highly recommend making an appointment to secure your spot.
3. Will the $20 deposit go towards my purchase?
Yes! the $20 deposit secures your spot and will applied to you purchase. If you no show, you will lose your deposit.
4. Can I remove my permanent jewelry?
If you need to take your piece off for whatever reason you can just cut at the jump ring. Save your chain and we can re-weld it for a small fee. Email us to schedule (layerthelovejewelry@gmail.com).
5. Will I have issues going through security at the airport?
No, our jewelry is 14k gold filled and will not sound any alarms

7. I'm not ready to permanent, do you offer custom jewelry with a clasp?
Yes, just make an appointment and you can pick your chain, we'll size it to custom fit you but instead of welding we will place a clasp on.

• If you require items in your order to come in separate packaging, please choose the "package separately" option with each item you need separate packaging for.

Picking the Right Size
1. Measure your wrist/neck where you would like your piece to sit with a string and mark the spot.
2. Lay your string flat and use a ruler to measure up to where you made the mark.
3. Add at least an extra 0.5 to 1 inch for bracelets and 1-2 inches for chokers to the length to ensure a comfortable fit.
4. If your exact size isn't available round up to the nearest size.

What is Gold Filled?
Gold filled means that there is a thick layer of solid gold pressure bonded to a high-quality jewelers’ brass core. Because gold filled must be 1/20th (or 5%) pure gold by weight, the result is a high quality, durable piece of jewelry that is the next best thing to solid gold. It will not turn your skin green, will not tarnish and can last a lifetime if cared for properly. It’s a great, more affordable alternative to solid gold that can still be worn every day.
