Returns

We offer a 30-day return window from the date of delivery. If you're not completely happy with your purchase, you may return it for a full refund to your original payment method.

To be eligible for a return, items must:

  • ·Be in unworn, undamaged condition
  • ·Include all original packaging (box, pouch, and any included materials)
  • ·Be returned within 30 days of the delivery date

Original shipping charges are non-refundable. Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the item arrived damaged or defective.

Exchanges

We offer exchanges within 30 days of delivery. Exchanges are available for the same item in a different size or metal type, subject to availability. If you'd prefer a different style, we recommend returning your item for a refund and placing a new order.

To request an exchange, please contact us at layerthelovejewelry@gmail.com with your order number and the item you'd like to exchange.

Custom & Personalized Items

All custom, personalized, and engraved items are final sale and cannot be returned or exchanged. Because these pieces are made specifically for you, please double-check all personalization details — spelling, sizing, metal type — before placing your order.

If your personalized item arrives with an error on our part (incorrect engraving, wrong item), please contact us within 7 days of delivery and we will make it right at no additional cost.

Sale & Promotional Items

Items purchased on sale or with a promotional discount are eligible for return within the standard 30-day window. Refund amounts will reflect the price actually paid. If a promotional discount required a minimum purchase and your return brings the order below that threshold, the discount may be adjusted accordingly.

How to Start a Return

    Email us at layerthelovejewelry@gmail.com with your order number and the reason for your return.

    Our team will respond within 1–2 business days with return instructions and a shipping address.
  3. 03
    Pack your jewelry securely in the original packaging and ship it using a trackable method.
  4. 04
    Once we receive and inspect your return, we'll process your refund within 5–10 business days. You'll receive an email confirmation when your refund has been issued.

Please note: We are not responsible for return packages that are lost in transit. We strongly recommend using a trackable shipping service and purchasing shipping insurance for items over $75.

Damaged or Defective Items

If your jewelry arrives damaged or defective, please contact us within 7 days of delivery with photos of the issue and your order number. We will arrange a free return and send you a replacement or full refund at your preference.

2-Year Quality Warranty

We stand behind the quality of every Layer the Love piece. All jewelry is covered by a 2-year warranty against manufacturing defects from the date of delivery. This includes issues such as broken clasps, premature tarnishing, stones falling out of settings, or chain breakage due to faulty construction.

Our warranty does not cover:

  • ·Normal wear and tear, including minor scratching and gradual fading
  • ·Damage caused by improper care (exposure to chemicals, perfumes, water, or cleaning products)
  • ·Accidental damage, loss, or theft
  • ·Repairs or modifications made by a third party

To file a warranty claim, email us at layerthelovejewelry@gmail.com with your order number and photos of the issue. If your claim is approved, we will repair or replace your piece at no charge. If the item is no longer available, we will issue store credit for the original purchase price.

Gift Returns

Gifts may be returned within 30 days of delivery for store credit. The gift recipient will need the order number or a gift receipt to initiate the return. Refunds to the original payment method can only be issued to the original purchaser.

International Orders

International orders are eligible for returns within 30 days of delivery. Return shipping costs and any applicable customs duties or taxes are the responsibility of the customer and are non-refundable. We recommend using a trackable shipping service for all international returns.
